Why does it say on the bottle to take with "Plenty of Water"?
Is that why I get a sour feeling in my stomach 20 minutes or so after I take it or is that just coincidence.thanks

Philipa is right. If you get extremely dehydrted it can be dangerous.
The yucky feeling in your tummy will probably go away after a while. I had that at 1st too.
Best,

Always make sure you take your lithium with food. That should help ease the stomach issues, mostly. Make sure your doses are timed with meals, if they aren't already. As for the water - you should be drinking all day, to keep your kidneys in good shape. Just try to get into the habit of having an insulated cup that's always filled, and you'll develop good habits in no time. Best of luck,
