Ok - why is it that when I take Abilify, Geodon or Lamictil I get the benefit of a high sex drive?
Are they boosting my dopamine or suppressing it?
What makes them give me that nice side effect?
I didn't really notice that side effect from Wellbutrin - even though docs perscribe it for that.

I'm sure I could only speculate, but it may be that you feel better, so more normal functions are coming back on line.
I mean, when I am anxiety ridden, dissociative or depressed to the gills, then sex is usually the last thing on my mind.
Relieve those symptoms and here comes the sex.
Lucky you.

I think you are right about Abilify. this is an imbarasing message. For the short time I took Abilify I went dancing and got a major hard on on the dance floor. I was wearing thin pants. And everyone noticed. I've been taking zyprexa for some time now and it never had that effect. Wish I could take the Abilify, but can't sleep and get panicy.

Lamictal boosts dopamine the first week but then it goes back to normal accordingly to one study.
