I am new here. I have gotten lots of good advice from this site and really admire you candidness. I am in the health care profession myself and was in therapy for the past year. My therpist and I both agreed on a date for terminating therapy which was a month ago. Since then, there have been days when I have had the irrational urge to call her, email her etc or to start therapy just to see her. Being in my field I know how inappropriate this would seem if a patient of mine behaved in such a manner, even though i is quite natural. Any tips???

Hi Georgia.
Psychobabble can be confusing at times, but the Psycho-Babble Psychology board is for posting about therapy and therapists and psychology, and I know you'll meet with a lot of support there.

Those who wish to respond to Georgia can answer there.
Hope this helps.
