How much Provigil do people usually take for ADD?

when provigil was being investigated for childhood ADHD (quite a lucrative market), the doses were high, 340-425 mg/day. But children metabolize Provigil much faster than adults- it has roughly a 7-hour half-life in children under 10, as opposed to 15 in adults (and Provigil, in my opinion, is a drug that requires interdose plasma accumulation to have a marked effect, much like the discontinued Cylert). I take 300 mg. I don't think there's any one dose that is advisable in ADHD adults, any more than with Ritalin or Adderall.
Provigil has a strange slowing effect that may be good for those who had hyperactive subtype ADHD as children.

200 mg is the standard dose for whatever provigil is used for these days ('wake promotion'- anything to avoid the term 'stimulant.')
I split the dose 200/100. (am/noon). With caffeine, this actually gives me a degree of functioning to 6 pm, on a good day.
The problem is of course (as with any stimulant, and this may be only pertinent to those who have sleep disorders) that time spent awake is time not sleeping, and 'functioning' time seems to demand more in terms of sleep debt than time spent staring at the computer. Maybe for pure ADHD these considerations are not relevant.
