However not a help for the waistline unless you're willing to have a truly restricted diet which I couldn't manage in the end. It resembles the blockade of atypical antypschotics without the D2 part.-- Jay

i had long-term success with Remeron for MDD. i took it for about 7 years (i lost track!). i did gain weight and the somnulence was annoying, but they weren't intolerable. i was on 90mg - at higher doses the side effects are less prominent.
