I've found that Ativan definitely reduces the effectiveness of Ritalin. At times, I've been able to take an extra 10mg of Ritalin and do OK, but the Ativan definitely counteracts the stimulant for me.

I guess what I was wondering is if you could still get the good effects of the stimulant, like being more alert , m otivated but using the benzo to take off the edge of the anxiety and agitation you might get from the stimulant. Thanks

I'd think it would be the same as the stimulating properties of caffeine especially coffee. I'm afraid to drink it. Anyone on the thread with anxiety have problems with caffeine since it's stimulating too? Love Phillipa

glad to hear that, I will have to try that mix, I am not really worried about what is "good and bad" , as my present state of "zoned out exhausted anti-social zombie guy" is probably not real good either, about anything I can think of is better than that. : )

Ritalin cancels out Klonopin, but Provigil and Klonopin don't seem incompatible.
