Straterra is a TCA is it not? Does it have cardiac conduction side effects? Thanks.

The website says it's a norepenephine stimulator. Love Phillipa I didnt see it mentioned as a TCA.

Interesting. I was under the impression that it was a TCA (or related to / derived from a TCA)

Strattera is not a TCA. The risk of cardiac conduction defects is small but problems have been reported rarely.

Hey, thanks for the answer. Where did I get the idea it was a TCA? Is it reated to a TCA?
Maybe its just the drug name thats confusing me.

Not sure. Perhaps you were thinking it was related to desipramine?
Atomoxetine is chemically unrelated to the TCAs, it's structure is very different.
Here is the structure of desipramine, a tricyclic: ......note the three rings joined together (hence, tri-cyclic)......
