Hi, Alberto. I used Abilify last month at 1.25 - 5 mg/day. It really did remove my fear of leaving my house and "being seen", which was a strong & persistent fear.
It (I think) gave me other freakish feelings, so I stopped it. But I'm making adjustments in my meds and am going to try it again at a low dose (1.0-2.5 mg/day).
Are you going to try Abilify, Alberto?

Thank you for your answer. In fact i am taking 600mg of seroquel and i gained weight on it.otherwise, the only thing that ever work for me was the IMAOS (parnate, moclobemide, etc) and right now my dr. doesnt want to give me those. So i tought that abilify could has a more activating profile, but i dont think that i can handle to feel paranoid/suspicious.-Btw, Did you feel paranoid on abilify?
Alberto.

I got strange, intense worries, panic sort-of. Hard to explain. I'm not sure I would call it paranoia, but it was highly aversive.
Its good effects, though, were so good that I'm hesitantly beginning it again.
However, everybody's different and your mileage will probably vary. I would suggest starting Abilify at a low dose and increasing slowly, just in case. Good luck.
This is the end of the thread.
