I posted a thread with a few questions about EffexorXR, and even though there have been no answers (yet?!), I think it's important for me to point out that I made a mistake about the neurotransmitters involved with this med.
It's an SNRI, meaning it targets Serotonin and Neurepinephrine; a fairly thorough search about it, did NOT turn up anything indicating that it also acts on Dopamine at high doses.

Effexor is a weak inhibitor of dopamine uptake, though much weaker than its effects on serotnonin and norepinephrine.
