Has anyone only had real success with paxil? It seems like every other SSRI I have tried makes me irritable and almost angry. Paxil calms me big time. I know we are all different but can anyone relate? What is it about Paxil that makes it "so good" for anxiety compared to Zoloft or Celexa, for instance? Thanks in advance

You already know the answer to this: Every med affects everyone differently. Why does Paxil work for you over the others? Simply, it has a different chemical makeup.
Unfortunately or fortunately, pdocs know that meds work, but they do not know which one works for whom. Therefore, you have to try each drug on an experimental basis for two months and so forth.
Hopefully Paxil will work for you. It was decent for me, made me starve. Good luck and keep us posted.
