I don't usually drink any alcohol, but I thought it might be fun to try to get drunk.
I'm on 50 mg Celexa, 150 mg Wellbutrin SR and 0.75 mg Risperdal.
Yesterday I had 330 mL of a strawberry daiquiri. I felt nauseous afterwards, but I didn't puke.
Today I had 2 Bulldogs, that's Kahlua with coke and cream or milk. I had probably two shots of the Kahlua. Then I ate a burger, then I puked.
Anyways, is it the alcohol plus meds that made me sick? I don't think I really had that much to drink. I'm doing all this drinking to prepare for Canada day tomorrow, but since I got sick, I don't know if I should drink any more alcohol. Now I don't know what to do with the booze I bought.
I hope it's not some sort of interaction with my meds that causing me to get sick. Has this happened to anyone else? Would someone get nauseous if the meds and booze didn't mix?

Yanno, I don't know about the other drugs you're taking, but when I was on Celexa, I couldn't drink hard alcohol at all. I could still manage wine or a beer, but a mixed drink would make me feel dizzy and nauseated. I didn't have that problem on Paxil, I could drink whatever I wanted on Paxil, so I know it was specific to the Celexa. I don't know why I could still handle wine and beer (in moderate amounts) but I really had a reaction with Celexa and hard liquor. I don't know if that helps you at all, but that was my experience.
