I hate Anti Depressants-tried 6, and find stimulants, sublingually, or taken in 'other ways' better.
Anyone else?
Cheers

Do you consider Percocet to be a stimulant as when I hurt my arm and had to take it I felt better. I don't like ad's either they don't work for me. Love Phillipa

I might try a stimulant for depression eventually. I'm sure everybody likes them because they're "uppers."

Percocet is a narcotic combo (with acetaminophen). It can make one feel euphoric (although dysphoria is also listed as a possible adverse reaction). That might be why you felt good while taking it. But it's not considered a stimulant.

I know that stims are the only med that has worked consistantly for me and when I have taken percocets I liked them.
That calm but mentally alert feeling that I get on stims I also got on percs.
Peace,
K

>Hi
I know what you mean about the calm mentally alert-feeling. I used to get that on 150-300mgs Codeine, it would give me a calm alertness, almost acting like Brain food-apparentally it@hydro have shown to help the sleepiness of Narcolepsy, instead of pumping out Monamines and stimulating the Brain that way, it semed to satisfy the Endorphins, and give desire and enthouism to whatever i happened to be doing.

Codiene, while I expected it to make me sleepy, wired me for sound. Not pleasantly-more twitchy.
I have never taken any narcotic on a regular basis but I suspect the benefits would be difficult to sustain.
They are great on occasion though!Peace,
Kaye
