On my way home today i stopped at vitamin shoppe,sometimes i may pick up a bottle of l-theanine but thats about it,i just kinds look and see what the natural world is offering.

Anyway on the shelf was 100 percent pure USP GRADE L - TRYPOOPHAN,not 5 htp,not a mixture,just simply the single amino acid alone.

For those who dont know this amino is the serotionion amino,responsable for it in the brain,it was banned long ago due to a bad batch,and remained so.Conspirsits believe it had something to do with prozac being introduced the very next week.

Anyway suppsedly people used this for sleep,anxiety depression before it was banned,and most people now order it from overseas or as a animal supplment which is also usp grade and totaly safe.

Well now appearently its back,the guy told me its been re introduced into the U.S

Dont know what made me grab it on my way out,curosity perhaps,but when it rang up 40 dollers i put it back.

Nevertheless just thought id give a heads up.This amino has been used often in combo with ssris./////particulary prozac in low doses to assist in serotionion production.

Might be an option for people.

Im sure its available other places,it was not a vitamin shoppe brand,i dident catch the brand,but most cities i believe have a vitamin shoppe store its a huge chain.Anyway there ya go.
