OK. I've been hesitating to ask this, I love to drink wine with dinner! Usually 1 1/2 glasses, small ones, with food. Here is what I am on:
9am: Synthroid, B, C, E
5pm : Valium
10pm: 200mg Lamictal, 120mg Geodon
The wine comes in around 7-8 with dinner
So, what do ya'll think
Blessings
Mary

I always thing about arranging my meds around the two beers I have a day as my reward for jogging, so I hear you on this. Some pleasures in life are hard to give up. I'd suggest the empirical approach-have just a couple ounces of wine for a couple days, see what happens, and work up very, very slowly. You aren't going to kill yourself, it's just a matter of how you feel. Maybe you'll find having the wine doesn't matter; maybe it will make you feel badly, who knows? The problem is complicated by the fact that just about all psychoactive drugs have the "don't drink alcohol" stickers on them, which are often just corporate liability protection...excessive alcohol can promote depression in some people; and sometimes you see the mis-statement that alcohol actually inhibits AD's. If you take an MAOI, different story.
This is the end of the thread.
