Amisulpride is a quirky med isn't it? First it feels good for a couple days, then nothing, but then at about 4 to 6 weeks it kicks in. In the meantime, we've unknowingly increased the dose to thinking the low dose wasn't going to work, when in fact the low dose was perfect but just needed time.
I really liked amisulpride. The insomnia was pretty bad. I could treat that. But it gave me really bad sexual side effects. Worse than any ssri. I was in the 25mg to 50mg range.
