I switched from the 2mg tablets to 5mg tablets. I find taking the 5mg tablets better. I found from the 2mg tablets when breaking them in half - yes just 1mg! - it had a mild effect on me, but not for long.
So, now i'm using the 5mg tablets, break them into half, then half again (into quarters basically) 1.25mg - take that 4 times a day, if needed and it does the job extreamly well. Also, gives felxibilty if I want less and reduces sedation.
Although I take as needed, fortunately, the doctor has been generous to provide enough to take daily every month. However, I am not taking them daily, basically because theres no real need to take them 24/7 and secondly, the way in which i'm taking them I think I stand the best chance of never gaining tolerance to the effects.
So glad I got this drug, so far it has improved my health greatly.
