Hi All,
Was reading yesterday that this was/is supposed to be a new antidepressant. Is it out yet? Any success stories?Thanks

Yes, but not as an antidepressant. It's available as an antiemetic to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.
Here is some information.....
'Aprepitant is a neurokinin-1 (NK-1)-receptor antagonist (substance P antagonist)'
'Aprepitant was in Phase II studies expected to be an effective antidepressant, but Phase III studies failed to show efficacy in the treatment of depression. Aprepitant's failure in depression sounds a warning for substance P antagonists - it is not the first drug in this class to be suspended from trials in depression.'

which drug was eliminated in clinical trials beside this NK1-antagonist? I hope not Saredutant!?
