~i started having pretty bad panic attacks again due to a situation and i am almost 7 months pregnant. my baby doc said take it if i had to but i'm worried. the stress is bad for the baby but klonopin is also.....any info?

Yes and yes, stress is bad and though the evidence is minimal regarding klonopin and pregnancy, some reseach has shown signs of it being harmful to the fetus (particularly in the 1st tri-mester). Since you are in the 3rd tri-mester you don't have to worry *too much* but definately be cautious and only use in extreme circumstances. You don't want a child to be born withdrawing from benzodiazepines. There have been some cases of oral clefts as a result of benzo use during pregnancy, but these are relatively rare. Just hang in there, and avoid unless absolutely necessary.
