My doc asked me today if I knew what triage was. I said no. She said they are the emergency procedures to save a patient's life, worry about the other stuff later. That's apparently where I am.
Have been off ssri's for 3 months, been off zyprexa for 1 month, after 5 years. Withdrawals are still ongoing...insomnia, depression, anxiety, and according to my doc some psychotic features. Most concerning was that I have lost so much weight she says I fit anorexia, even though I eat decent enough, and she said if I lose a few more pounds she might put me in the hospital on IV. Geez, I didn't know I was that bad off until she pointed it all out.
She says restart the zyprexa, mainly for sleep and appetite, this is no time to be braving withdrawals. She says take xanax and don't be afraid of it. But she says no ssri's for now, it is most important to stabilize and save my life.
Wow. I knew I was in bad shape, but not that bad.And even though it has been real hard, I thought I was hanging in there. Still haven't restarted the zyprexa. Not sure what to do.

Why did you stop all your meds?
I know when I have stopped my SSRI's, it has always taken me 2 or 3 months to be able to really tell and then I am in the ER thinking I am having a nervous breakdown.
I would resume the Zyprexa.

Go with amisulpride + a prolactin-lowering drug like Dostinex or Parlodel.

Didn't this doctor just prescribe you l-dopa or something? Why would he prescribe this then give you an AP ?
