I guess this could go on the alternative board, but since it's related to med interactions/mechanisms I thought it would getter better exposure here.
My question is regarding green tea's actions as an maoi (a/b?). Apparently it has some mao inhibitory actions.
Would one need to be cautious about taking high doses of green tea (ie 10-20 cups worth in liquid or other extract form) with meds or foods that are usually contraindicated with maoi's?
Thanks y'all.
