I added 18mg Concerta to my small dose of 2mg Abilify and what a difference! I've been on both before mono and it's nothing like the two together.
My moods improved and it's like a switch has gone off, I hope it lasts! I know stims can fade away from what I've read, but for now I'll enjoy.
I'd like to hear any input from any folks out there on this combo.

Do you experience any akathisia from 2 mg Abilify? Have you tried higher doses, and was there any akathisia then?

I haven't gone much higher but at 3-4mg I felt more slowed in thinking and a little more anxious. At 2mg I don't have many problems and the Concerta actually takes some of the anxious feeling away. I can tell the longer I've been on the Abilify, the more it starts to actually make me a little tired instead of activating like when I started it.

Mild depression, high anxiety, ADD, possibly BPII, but who knows!
Abilify seems to loose it's activating properties after a month and be more of a stabilizer. It basically keeps that doom and gloom feeling away. I don't get that warm and fuzzy feeling I got when say Paxil or other SSRI's would kick in. Concerta actually helps with my anxiety.
