Mirapex Hallucinations

Posted by Maxime on March 9, 2006, at 15:23:21

I'm seeing things. But only when I close my eyes. I see colours and warped faces. I don't like it. I wonder if it's the small amount of Mirapex?

Hug please.

Maxime

HUGS

It could well be the Mirapex, dopamine agonists often cause hallucinations and related symptoms.

I would recommend reducing your Mirapex dose. Even a very low dose should help to reduce your prolactin level - this will allow you to increase your dose of desipramine, which should help your depression.

Thanks for the hugs. I'm only taking 1/2 a mg now. I wonder if .125 mg would be effective. I stopped taking the desipramine because I don't want to try two things at once.

Maybe they will go away. It's weird, it's only when I close my eyes, so I am scared to go to sleep.

Love,
Maxie

Perhaps it's the Benadryl. Anticholinergics can cause hallucinations.

I've stopped the benadryl. I only took it for 2 days. But thanks!
