too early to tell??...

I've been at an increased dose of Cymbalta for one-and-a-half weeks now (I went up to 60 mg. after being on 30 mg. for about 7 months). So far, it does not seem to have helped. If anything, I'm more anxious and lethargic than at 30 mg. I'm also still having the sugar craving and binging episodes. But I don't know whether it's too early to tell whether or not the increased dose will be effective or not. Wouldn't it have already started to make a difference if it was going to? What are the guidelines for this? Any info is appreciated! Thanks, Jess

My understanding is that, when raising a dose, you should recognize a change in two to four weeks. Lovely, huh? Gotta wait, and wait again. But, that's just a "Don't give up until you've gotten to about four weeks at the increased dose." It doesn't necessarily mean that it will take that long, just that it can.

Hope that helps, and that the Cymbalta kicks in and decides to be your friend.
