Can anyone share personal experiences with Cymbalta? What side effects did/do you have? Do you find that it's best to take it all at once in the morning with breakfast? What can I expect from this drug (at 60 mg.)?
Thanks!

Just yesterday I increased (with pdoc recommendation) my Cymbalta from 30mg to 60mg. Today I'm enjoying some very pleasurable hypomania. I haven't felt this great in a long time. 30mg didn't have enough oomph for me. Only side effects that didn't go away for me are tinnitus, dry mouth, constipation and tremor. I started it about 5 weeks ago.
Good luck.

I've had good results with Cymbalta 60mg. I didn't notice any huge or insurmountable side effects from moving from 30mg to 60mg, a bit of insomnia but I take Trazedone for that.
I've had a long history of anxiety and panic attacks. I took Benzos for years but found that I was taking more than I should and that they were making me very sleepy. I didn't have a lot of faith in Cymbalta for my panic as I have tried many AD's (Paxil- which worked great for about 3 years, Lexapro-didn't do anything, Imimpramine- no benefits and horrendous side effects, Buspar- didn't do a thing), but I have to admit that after 4 months on Cymbalta, my anxiety and panic attacks have decreased sharply.
Best of Luck,

I took it twice. First time last year made to 60mg. Didn't help anxiety/depression. What it did help was no aches or pains. Second time I took it I never made it past 30mg. Twitching, sweats, anxiety felt like my head would explode. Fondly, Phillipa
