Would anyone be able to point me into the direction (provide links) of information confirming there is no interaction between Lamictal (Lamotrigine) and Gabapenein (Neurontin)
Thanks in Advance

If you can't find anything there, try this:

I tried the combination once. It really didn't help me, but the NIMH seemed to think that the two drugs together were better than either one alone.

Thanks for the link...

I was unable to find the abstract about the study of Lamotrine and Gabapentin, but I did find these...
Levetiracetam, gabapentin and pregabalin have not been reported to cause or be a target for clinically relevant pharmacokinetic drug interactions.
Several newer AEDs used in BPD also offer the advantages of fewer drug interactions and less need for therapeutic drug monitoring compared with older AEDs.
In addition, newer AEDs appear to have a more favourable tolerability and drug interaction profile as compared to older compounds, so thus improving compliance to treatment.
I think you may take Levetiracetam? I found this too, so thought I'd post it as it may be of some interest with interactions.. :-)
Levetiracetam did not increase or decrease mean steady-state serum concentrations of carbamazepine, phenytoin, valproic acid, lamotrigine, gabapentin, phenobarbital, or primidone.

Thanks for that link Scott. :-)
I'll try again to see if I can access it from Pubmed, but I don't think I'll have any luck for some reason, I searched about 100, but still no luck :-( lol
