I felt like I was losing it. I normally take the dose in the morning and yesterday I couldn't take it until the afternoon. I started getting the normal jittery reaction that I normally get with some mild brain zaps, but I became really depressed. At one point, I felt like crying. I also feel somewhat depressed and very, very tired today.
I've missed Effexor doses before, and I never felt depressed, just some of the standard withdrawal symptoms. That's why I'm so surprised.
I take Lamictal 150mg also, and I would think that this would prevent such a dramatic mood swing from happening.
Jeez, Effexor has such a short half life it's ridiculous.

It's true. Effexor would be a better med if it had a (much) longer half life.
