Yeah, me too and I eventually decided to look up stuff on it. I also did a search on dr-bob.org for "grapefruit" and then I found out that there were already some topics on it from the past.
It fascinates me really; the whole thing with the grapefruit and all. It is just a humble fruit yet it can do some interesting things when you eat it concomitantly with certain medications.

That same enzyme can also be induced (speeded up) by other meds. One example of that would be St. John's wort. Grapefruit and SJW are on opposite ends of the teeter-totter.

Tobaacco effects on liver also affect dissapation of benzos...so for you smokers try quitting...you will get better and longer effects not to mention health benefits.
