questions about getting the right meds

Posted by tallwaters on January 14, 2006, at 10:12:40

I take prozac and at first (years ago it was miracle drug for me) never felt so good in all my life. then it made me lethargic. It helps in a way but I stay in a certain depression mode. It helps with OCD.
Now I have been on pain meds for a few months and finally got some life in me and hate say it But I want loritab because I feel alive on it. Now I know my p doc won't treat my depression with loritab. But I can't continue to let prozac suck the life out of me. Just for reference been on all the ssri's and wellbutrin makes me tense I also take klonopin. What meds get that part of my brain that's going that the loritab is reaching?... I want to feel better.. I mean just want to be able function and not lay in bed all day!!!!! anyone understand!?

I understand totally. And yeah, imagine the look on the pdoc's face when you ask for Lortab for your depression. Not sure what Lortab works on, that is truly an interesting effect it has on you. If not tried MAOIs, you might give that a shot. I think they are known to be activating like Wellbutrin (which made me want to kill people - I couldn't get off it fast enough). Parnate (with lamictal) is rocking my world right about now.

Keep trying trying trying.

Peace.
