I've talked to my pdoc about it and he thinks it's a good idea.
I'm going to forget about trying to take things as needed for a while, and take them as prescribed at the lowest doseage of the prescribed range for a while.
Right now what seems to keep me functioning at my best is a combination of Risperdal and Provigil. And I also take Lamictal for migraines. So I'm going to take those things every day, whether or not I think I need them that day.
Boy, that's a big step for me. I think I'm medication phobic.
Perhaps if I take Risperdal at night as well as in the morning, I can try to wean myself off the 1 mg Klonopin. They do the same sort of thing.

Dinah, I hope you feel better as a consequence of taking your meds every day. I've been back on Topamax at my own request, at 50mg for the migraines. It's a big relief for me.
Good luck!

Good for you Dinah,
hang in there and take those meds, they are all safe. I used to be phobic about taking meds as well but have got over it! :)

At the very least it will be an interesting experiment.
