Well, I finally got an okay to try Adderall XR. I've read here from many how much smoother it is than say, Concerta. Well, for me Adderall XR causes more physical, jittery stimulation, like a diet pill or something. I'm just taking 10mg and was wondering if side effects would worsen at 20mg (adult staring dose according to PI) or smooth out? I will probably try it just to see. I guess in a way it's a blessing so I won't be obsessing about it and just go back to my good ole Concerta 18mg, which is more calming, even helps my OCD.
It just goes to show that these stims and other meds can be very different for different folks.

I kinda felt like the jitteriness from adderall smoothed out at 20-30mgs AM; a booster dose a couple hours later is helpful...I found a 30/10 split to be helpful; some people have different set ups.

I would expext adderal to have the side effects you mention as it is 50% l-amphetimine, represented as 2 different salts. l-amphetimine is well reported to have more side effects than d-amphetimine. Dexadrine is all d isomer and generic, so it have fewer side effects and affordable.

Dexadrine is a generic? Maybe it's the 20% leeway up or down. Fondly, Phillipa

I didn't think Adderall was smoother than Concerta but I did think that bpoth dexedrine and Focalin were.
