Hiya all does anyone know how dosage is handled in clinical trials? I often read that SSRIs are only slightly better than placebo. At what dose? For me Citalopram wasn't effective until I reached 60mg. This implies that SSRIs might be considerably better than placebo once the right dosage has been found

It depends. Some studies used fixed doses, some use flexable doses. Some studies show that higher doses are more effective than lower doses, and some studies show lower doses are more effective than higher doses.
