I'm in week #4 of starting Effexor and so far I feel MUCH better. I wasn't that bad off before, but felt anxious and overwhelmed which made me feel frustrated and teary. Now I feel calm and energized. The only side effect I seem to be having is weird dreams. They're not nightmares, but they're unusual and very, very detailed. When I wake up, I remember the whole thing. Anyone else experiencing this?

I remember this perhaps in the beginning, but when you may really experience it is when you miss a dose or come off effexor, wild, wild dreams
write them down :-)

I remember that. It still hits me now a year later if I'm really stressed by anything. It can make for some nights where you don't feel like you've slept at all...
And yeah, write them down!!!

some drugs do that to people. When I tried low-dose seroquel, I was throwing punches and making weird noises in my sleep...I woke up with stiff, sore muscles. When I was on Vistaril (aka: atarax), I kept having super-vivid dreams, like in a movie...I also had this re-curring dream that I was having a seizure. The seizure dream was scary, and kept happening, so I had to stop vistaril.
