BuTrans (buprenorphine) transdermal patches are now available from Napp. They are licensed for the treatment of severe opioid-responsive pain conditions, which are not adequately responding to non-opioid analgesics. There are three patch strengths available, delivering 5µg/hour, 10µg/hour and 20µg/hour. The patches should be changed every seventh day.
Transtec (buprenorphine) patches are already available - but they only last for 3 days. The new BuTrans patches are supposed to last 7 days.

Is that over here too (US)?
When they told me I had lupus, they offered me some sort of pain patch.
I didn't think I needed it- 5 mg's of hydrocodone with an extra strength tylenol does the trick for me.
Plus, I was worried that it would release too much at one time somehow.

Hydrocodone pills usually already have tylenol in them, you might check that and see if you're not taking too much.

I wondered about that too but the pharmacist said I could take one tylenol with it. My prescription is 5/500.
And Ed, yes that was the name of it! I thought it started with a *d*.
