Hey everyone! Went to my dr visit today and they tried to turn me away b/c i have state provided ins. EVEN though they accept it but not for NEW patients. Hmmmm~been going there since 98 but had *GOOD* insurance then. Anyway i paid out of pocket to explain my symptoms and get a basic Hemoglobin test and a months worth of Wellbutrin XL samples(which my *crappy* ins. wld have paid for??). I cannot afford all the blood work so my hunt for a doctors office that will take my ins. continues. I just think that adding 150 WB XL to 300 Effexor XR is a bit. Any suggestions? Sorry for the whining~just pissed off! ; )

I was taking 300 mg effexor *and* 300 mg wellbutrin. I had no problems, except I decided that maybe the effexor was causing fogginess so I dropped it to 150.
Adding the wellbutrin to the effexor was the first thing I tried that made a positive difference. Adding provigil to the two was the second positive difference. Only two positives to date, though I'm about to start ritalin.

Thank you so much! A general doctor gave me the Wellbutrin XL knowing that i take 300 Effexor xr and i see my Pdoc Thursday and did not know if this was too much but honestly, today is the 1st day i have had some energy and i feel good. I have only taken the WB 2 days but i just recently upped my Effexor from 225 to 300 so it cld be both?! I am not down and i have been active all day when before i was sleeping 14 hours a day! Any info. is greatly appreciated and thank you again! ~abbey
