When I first started taking Effexor, I would get sweaty and dizzy and and headachey when I missed my dose. This would begin at the 26+ hour mark after taking the previous dose. I usually take it at 6 a.m. and today I suddenly realized at 5 p.m. that I hadn't taken my Effexor and felt fine all day. I'm not here complaining about NOT having SEs, I'm just wondering what the implications are. Effexor is "supposed" to have a short half-life and that's "supposedly" why some folks have so much trouble when discontinuing it. Does this mean it has "pooped out" or does so much of it just remain in your body tissues when you've been on it awhile (for me 1.5 years) that the "withdrawal symptoms" just aren't there? Or could it be that the steady amounts of doxepin and clonazepam in my system are masking the typical Effexor withdrawal symptoms? I don't know what to think. If I feel fine without it, should I quit it and keep taking my doxepin and klonopin? I could sure put the money I fork out for it every month to better use.
