It seems like Effexor and Wellbutrin together are the only things that have really worked for me. The thing that bothers me is that if I miss a dose of Effexor I get terrible withdrawl effects, which makes me worry. I've tried getting off of it, but have not been successful. Then I worry about something awful happening and being without my Effexor - I would go insane and probably kill myself from the insanity. I know this because of the insanity I've gone through trying to get off Effexor.
If I accidentily miss a dose of Wellbutrin (or any other med I've taken) it dosen't effect me.
Effexor is the best med so far. Am I stuck with it for life? I don't want to get fatter. Is the next step Lithium?
I went to another doc who suggested Trileptal and Wellbutrin.

Gee does effexor make everyone fat? Wellbutrin is supposed to help with wt loss and energy from what I've read here and effexor and wellbutrin is a popular combination. Google Dr. Bob at bottom of screen and look at threads that combine the two. Hope this helps. Fondly, Phillipa
