Does Paxil work well with Seroquel????????????????

Posted by TheMagicPill on September 2, 2005, at 12:20:48

i have been taking seroquel for anxiety and it is like a miracle drug, taking away the rage of nervous energy that i feel. however, in recent weeks, i guess my body has gotten used to the seroquel because i feel drowsy after waking up in the morning for hours and hours.

i need a stimulant to get me going. my pdoc prescribed paxil.

any thoughts would be very appreciated???????????????????????

It might be that your doctor believes that you have genearalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Perhaps he feels that Paxil would work well with the Seroquel to reduce the anxiety. Alternatively, he might be planning to actually switch drugs, in which case, sedation would hopefully no longer be a problem.
