Its been 6 days back on the Nardil and its already kicked in. Yet its not 'all' good!
I seem too be in a kind of 'dazed conciousness' half the time. My girlfriend (bless her) has had to put up with a lot. One minute I'm haveing a laugh with her, the next I'm haveing a go!
It's like I'm only 90% there - I'm ok but I dont have full controll of what goes on in my head, or what comes out of my mouth for that matter.
The feeling I have is similar to when I've started SSRIs, or when 'peaking' on MDMA, but without all the pleasantness. I feel slightly 'careless'. Apart from this I do feel better. I hope this is'nt Serotonin Syndrome.
Any comments welcome.

I took 5-HTP 100mg daily for a few days in between (together with some Valarian), but stopped that 48 hours before I re-started Nardil. That was over a week ago now. Still I've never done things in that order, with these meds before so I guess there could be some Marplan still in the system (Marplan certainly 'felt' highly Serotonergic). I really cannt see 5-HTP being the culprit as my body would have 'normalized' it's production of it by now (if that makes sense?). And I didn't take it for long.
I've just gone from 30mg to 45mg Nardil so maybe I should return to 30mg. Seems a small dose as I was on 75mg before.
Regards.

Hey tecknohed
I've heard this once before from someone on Parnate but more often from people on Nardil. Was it the Nardil shuffle?? Can that be right? I'm sure I've heard about the carelessness thing before.
I'd be trying to find the dose that nudges me in the right direction without doing more than is useful. Limited expectations and hopefully limited side effects.

It sux to have to wait 2-3 weeks for these meds to kick in, but that's just the way it is. Just know in your mind that you will be feeling better eventually.

Tom. No need to feel sorry! I'm actually feeling ok. I'm suddenly alot more cheerfull and my anxiety has simply vannished! (well, almost). I've already started looking for work again!
It's just a bit crazy at the moment! I'm just not 100% sure what I'm about to do some of the time. My head feels hazy, almost dream - like (???!!!) It is calming down a bit now though. I'm only on 30mg (was on 75mg previously, before I stopped). I think I shall stay on 30mg for a while.
Hows your Marplan going? Feel free to Babblemail me anytime (that goes for anyone else too).
Tecknohed.
