dilated pupils on lexapro and trazadojne combo

Posted by mom1123 on July 23, 2005, at 10:15:02

My 17 year old son was started on Trazadone and Effexor XR last week. After a bad couple of days with side effects on Effexor, he was switched to Lexapro. We've noticed that occasionally his eyes dilate really large for a short period since starting the Lexapro. Is this a common side effect or should we be concerned?

Thanks!

Is he taking both Lexapro and Trazodone at night? If he isn't, have him do so. I used to achieve a narcotic like lull in my actions which meant it was time to get under the covers and turn out the lights.
