I started taking 300XL Wellbutrin at night because it makes me a little sleepy during the day. I also take 100mg of Trazodone so the Wellbutrin doesn't wake me up during the night.
I'm weaning myself off Effexor 75mg. And for the anxiety that Wellbutrin gives me I am takngs .50 - 1mg of Klonopin.
Is this too much? I'm hoping to just take Wellbutrin, Klonopin and Trazodone.

I don't think it's too much even if you don't stop the effexor. If you find that you are not feeling well later on, don't hesitate to add back the effexor. It's one of the safest and most effective drugs that we have for anxiety and depression.

Hi,What makes you say this? i was offered it last year, but declined because it's often called "sideeffexor" for obvious reasons.
I wonder how similar to prozac?
Cheers

Effexor is very effective for my anxiety and depression. The side effects I have are tolerable...constipation (I can fix that), insomnia (I can fix that) and dry mouth (extra brushing, mints, drinking lots of water do the trick.) If not for Effexor I might be in a mental hospital right now. I was so close to a breakdown when I began taking it I hate to think about what could have happened to me and my three young children if I hadn't.
