For me, Paxil CR was smoother. I still got the side effects but they took longer to show up - it was more gradual. My main side effects from Paxil were restless legs and increased anxiety. I'm not sure about dosage equivalents. I was started on 12.5mg of Paxil CR.

I thought Paxil CR is off the market for now do to manufacturing problems? I really don't think you have a choice anymore other than to take regular Paxil.
