I've been taking Lamictal to help my anxiety, I'm at 200mg daily for a few months, but the anxiety has gone up noticeably, is it possible that the Lamictal is causing this? It's mostly social anxiety...thanks

Were you on any other medications before Lamictal? Or any others now? Are you also bipolar?

Yes, yes, and yes.... Lamictal can increase anxiety in some.
Some people find it sedating, but it was very activating for me (which is not good for a big ball of anxiety like myself).

My anxiety seems to be less since I've been on Lamictal (only 10 days). When did your heightened anxiety show up - at what dosage?Marsha

I got activated on Lamictal in a very unpleasant way that felt a lot like anxiety. That and some other stressors in my life led to my first full-fledged panic attack. This was a couple of days after increasing my dose to 50 mg. A couple of caveats, though: I've reacted oddly to a number of medications, and I'm medication sensitive in that I seem only to be able to tolerate low doses of most drugs.
