Hey Everyone,
I have taken lamictal on and off with various antidepressants and mood stablizers over the years. It seems to give a strong boost at first, then poops out over a week or two. Does this happen to everyone?
Thanks.

It happens to me with every antidepressant I've ever used!

Well, the moodstabalizing proporties have not worn off ( I have been on 200mg for a 2 years) in that I dont get agitated and hypomanic....but perhaps the antidepressant properties have worn off..

Yes. If the other drugs in your regime are not sufficiently high in dosage, Lamictal will appear to poop-out. It can't do it on its own. I would say that you should be up at 200mg of Lamictal and push the dosage of Zoloft to 200mg as well. These are the dosages that are most often explored for severe depression. Actually, it might pay to continue to increase the Lamictal to 300mg if you have experienced a partial improvement only.Good luck.
