The Effexor and Wellbutrin are working great. I haven't felt this good in a long time. But the closer I get the my period, I get a little mean and agitated. I take Trazodone to sleep at night but my doctor suggested Seroquel or Risperdal to deal with the monthly PMS.
I tried Seroquel (25mg) and I slept all night and took 2 naps the next day.
I tood Risperdal, but was afraid to take the Trazodone together. Had trouble sleeping.
Is it ok to take all these meds? Will the Risperdal get me through the mania of PMS?
I wen't to another Pdoc and she wanted me to take just Wellbutrin and Seroquel. I don't want to get fat! Anyone have success on Risperdal without weight gain?

In reply to Risperdal and/or Trazodone?, posted by TrishP on June 17, 2005, at 8:05:24
Perhaps there's a magnesium deficiency/PMS link:
http://www.coldcure.com/html/dep.html
http://www.chiro.org/nutrition/magnesium.shtml
http://www.doctoryourself.com/pms.htmlMight be worth looking into.
