I have a history of major depression and I've been on various antidepressants for the last 22 years. When I last saw my psychopharmacologist he suggested I start on Provigil because I'm so disorganized both at work and at home.
Does anyone know how/why Provigil is supposed to be useful for adult ADD?

The clinical trials were inconclusive for adults but some people like it because it isn't a stimulant (in the traditional sense of the word.)

I have possible ADD, I really didn't like Provigil.
It didn't help with motivation or with Concentration.
It was also found it caused much more anxiety than Dexedrine.I had high hopes for Provigil and I was dissapointed, other people have had better results though.
