Because of what? The drug? The side effects? The reason you were taking the drug? Your semantics are unclear.

In some respects, that is the whole point of using the drug.

Could you try asking your questions again, please, but this time, give more information about yourself?

I've used Remeron, but I'm not on it now. I gained a lot of weight, and was told by people who knew me well that I seemed to have become insensitive to the feelings of others while on the drug. I had the most horrible withdrawal symptoms going off it (the worst I've ever experienced).

LARRY what were your withdrawl symtoms? I am coming off it now as it makes me angry around people and just alwways on edge, but it has taken me 2 yrs to realise this. I am currently down to 15mg from 30mg and so far I have only really experienced severe insomnia. I say only because I have tried to come off this stuff twice before without sucess, and would have far worse withdrawl symtoms.

Sorry to interrupt, but I'd like to redirect follow-ups regarding withdrawl to Psycho-Babble Withdrawal. Here's a link:

well i guess iv become a different person in a bad way because im allways tired i have constant daydreams all the time annd when people talk to me i just forget to listen iv been on it for 2yrs now, i got down to 15mg aswell but then i had to be put back on the higher dose again cos i wasnt coping.even though im tired all the time i can never sleep.and cos i couldnt concentrate in school they just stopped my education alltogether.even though i was depressed before i was on them, atleast i used to have energy and i was happy when i was out with my friends but now i cant do anything!my body is just completly drained all the time.
