Hi Rain,
>can she get rid of it or has she permanently destroyed her taste buds?
Immovane causes the same yucky taste as Lunesta. The taste will disappear when the drug has been excreted from her body. Her taste buds have not been damaged. The horrible taste is a very common side effect, it will probably have gone by tomorrow. The taste is unpleasant but it is harmless :-)
Kind regards,
Ed.

> thanksHi, I used to use Immovane. The aftertaste was nasty. But like Ed said, everything will return to normal and she hasn't destroyed her taste buds. Although 14 hours is a long time. I guess she is very sensitive to it.

Someone suggested on a lunesta Thread to put the pill in a capsule and swallow it. That kept the bad taste from occuring. Fondly, Phillipa
