I don't understand. I had some VERY good days on Parnate over the past week or so. Some of the best in 2 years. But I seem to have slipped back again! I don't know why. I haven't changed anything and there is no event that is causing me to feel this way. I want to feel like did only 4 days ago. I know I can't expect to feel good everyday, but I really feel BAD again.
It's not fair. That was like a tease of normalcy.

When I started my very first medication -- Lexapro,(after being up/down/up/down for years and most recently in a 6 month depression), I had the same response for the first couple of months I'd say. I felt great for a couple of says (which surely had to be attributed to the meds working -- I hadn't had any good days for the last 6 months), then really bad again, etc...Until the meds were working full blast, I was pretty uneven. I'd say if you know it's doing something good, hold on and keep your hopes up.

Thank you for the encouragement. I hope you are right!

I just posted above and asked if the Parnate wasn't working. Do you think it's the meds? Seriously could it be all the bad weather? It's cold, cloudy, windy every day and it isn't supposed to be. It's like there will be no summer this year. Except in Arizona I hear it's too hot. The CBT's not helping either? Gee I hate it when you think something is working and then start to feel bad again. Hi Maxime
Is this just characteristic of the Parnate experience, that it is a bit unstable? Or is it something else?

>Well nothing happened in my life that would bring me back down again. Maybe I just have to wait a while until it really gets in my system for a longer time.
I didn't drop back to where I was, but I did drop enough to notice and start feeling a little hopeless once again.Maxime

Nothing has changed in my environment to account for the change. The only thing is that some days I get very depressed over my job search. I am tired of spending all day sending out resumes and making cold calls to people. Maybe that's just getting to me. But I still feel better than I did before I restarted the Parnate.
