I know you can take the two together, but I don't know at what dosages. 100 mg of Desipramine seems high.

Hi
Have you decided or found out how much Desipramine you can take with the Parnate? I am interested in this combo as well. When I was on the Desipramine alone my pdoc said the normal dosage in 75mg, but of course we are all different. Were you getting any benefit from the Desipramine?

The highest therapeutic dose of Desipramine is 200 mgs.
To the original poster: get a blood test done. Then you will know if you're at therapeutic levels.

i was at 200mg, but aparently (according to a blood test) my blood levels hadnt hit the therapeutic range... so now i am officially prescribed 300mg, but am taking 50mg x2 times a day... im feeling some dimished effect, but really i think that may just be some withdrawl... most benefits occured as easily at low doses, and they were mainly for fighting reversed vegetative symptoms for me (overeating, hypersomnolence)
