Is it possible that Klonopin works only at such high dose? At lower levels it doesnt work at all for me. At such high dose it lowers my anxiety, but Im scared to take such high dose. What do you think?

Are you taking anything else with the klonopin? Because 15mg seems high to me. I take 3 mg daily and its helped with my SP greatly. I also take lamictal, so perhaps that keeps me calmer too. But i dont know...

I would not advice anyone to take 15 mg of Klonopin.

Sounds like a very high dose unless you have seizures. I agree check with your pdoc maybe another med is in order. Fondly, Phillipa

I concur with everyone else -- 15 mg is an extremely large dose of clonazepam. Though the stated maximum for *epilepsy* is 20 mg, for panic disorder a general guideline is not to exceed 4mg. It might be worth looking into alternatives rather than take such a high dose, considering potentially life-threatening withdrawals that might follow should you ever be taken off.

How long have you been taking this 15 mg dose of K? If a long time, switching to another benzo at a well less equivalent dose could prove disasterous. Have you been on Klonopin or benzos period a long time and been climbing in doses? If so you likely will need more later. Do you fell sick on this dose or have any apetite problems? Does it make you sleepy? Sorry for all the questions just trying to understand what is up better.

Doctors are scared to RX MAOis Parnate and Nardil because of the danger of diet. Plus both of these drugs are not registered in here.
